As someone who used an alternate insurer for Dizzy Ducks for the last seven years, I always had faith that their policy would cover me if the worst happened. After meeting Jackie at the NMT Nursery Agenda, she asked if she could simply look at my policies. I couldn’t have been more shocked when she revealed that my policies were seriously lacking. She discovered:
- No buildings insurance on two of my premises and a third nursery building was only insured as if it was unoccupied
- Insufficient income cover on all sites
- I can, without doubt, say that if anything had happened, I would have lost my business.
Jackie reviewed my policies at no cost to me. There was quite simply, nothing to lose! Thank goodness I gave her my policies to look at! She and her team were professional and thorough. She arranged immediate cover for me and followed this up by ensuring I understood everything that my new policy offered.
My advice to any other nursery is to let dot2dot review your policies. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
