We are pleased to announce our exciting new partnership with Aviva.
As the largest general insurer in the UK, Aviva seemed like the obvious choice for us here at dot2dot. With a shared passion for working with the Early Years sector, discussions have already begun to provide additional products and services for dot2dot’s customers, as well as enhancing their existing insurance policies.
Tracey Threlfall, Aviva’s Regional Head of Trading, commented on the new partnership: “I have watched Jackie Hyde and the dot2dot team increase their knowledge and expertise to develop a real passion and understanding of the Nursery Sector and their needs.”
New dot2dot customers will be insured with Aviva from June 1st 2015, while renewals will transfer from Zurich to Aviva as of September 1st 2015. The new Aviva agreement brings the curtain down on dot2dot’s successful partnership with Zurich, which lasted eight years, in which time our number of customers doubled.
Dot2dot has thanked Zurich for contributing to dot2dot’s growth during this period, and Zurich have confirmed that they will continue to provide a high-quality service whilst the transition takes place to Aviva.
Director of dot2dot, Jackie Hyde, explained that everyone at dot2dot sees the new partnership with Aviva as an important next step in the company’s development.
“We’re extremely pleased to be working with Aviva, which was voted the best commercial claims service by brokers in November 2014,” Jackie commented.
“Aviva has industry-leading technology that will help us identify ongoing claims risks and ultimately find solutions, and, we hope, lower our premiums in the long term. In short, our customers are going to really benefit from this new partnership.”
Meanwhile, Aviva’s Tracey Threlfall added that the insurer was “delighted” to have struck a deal with dot2dot, following 12 months of negotiations. She stated that Jackie had taken every possible measure to ensure dot2dot’s customers would be the ultimate beneficiaries of any agreement.
“Clearly this was always going to be a major decision for Jackie and throughout the process she was always looking to make sure she was doing her absolute best for her customers,” Tracey continued.
“During our many meetings, what has come across to Aviva is the knowledge, insight and expertise that Jackie and her team bring to this sector and this was a key factor in us wanting to work with them.
“As the largest general UK insurance company we play a lead role in the industry and a number of areas, specifically investing and innovating on claims, fighting fraud, and spearheading industry reform. We have market-leading claims handling service and we continue to streamline and improve this constantly to improve the experience for our customers.”
