What is your favourite part of the job?
Having worked here for almost 23 years, I have made some really good friends including my fabulous colleagues in the accounts team. I enjoy getting stuck into complex accounts queries and resolving them to obtain the best outcome for both
our clients and the business.
Hobbies outside of work
Being a lifelong camper, we have recently upgraded to a caravan and we are really appreciating the extra luxury!
I enjoy walking with my husband and going to concerts with my son and daughter when I get to pretend I’m a
teenager again.
Greatest achievement at work?
Being given the opportunity to progress in my role and take on more responsibility such as producing Monthly Management Information and completing the Annual Financial Accounts and Client Audit for our accountants.
If you were a bear what would your name be?
Mama Bear or Auntie Andrea Bear as I am one the most senior employees here and enjoy looking after my colleagues.
Apart from working for Stanmore/dot2dot what would your dream job be?
Nursing was a career I wanted to pursue when I was younger but I’ve settled for being a 1st Aider instead!

What do you enjoy about working at Stanmore and dot2dot?
I live within walking distance of the office so it is very convenient for me. Also as Stanmore is a relatively small broker with a number of long-serving staff, we are like a little family who look out for each other and offer support when needed.
Why is it so important that you care about your customers and how has it made a big impact/difference to them?
In the current financial climate, showing empathy, understanding and compassion is extremely important. During Covid, we worked closely with customers going through financial difficulties, which they were very grateful for.
